Thermotrax Design Considerations

Designing a Thermotrax circuit is easy and readilty addaptable to both CAD and FMEA. Modern FMEA thermodynamic programs allow for the consideration of the total product including chasis parts and air or water flow in the performance of the final product. Trace and spacing minimiums width should not be less than .060". The thickness of the conductive layer can be changes along with the alloy to achieve the electrical properties required. Multiple circuits can exist within any design and a variety of terinations exist to permanently intergrate a Thermotrax circuit into a larger system.

Multiple conductive layers with various functions can be laminated to each other to provide a multi-functional component for applications where space is a critical issue.
